business career pathway 300x300 Every Business Career Pathway Is Focused on ClientsClients are the thing that every business revolves around. Whether your business sells office furniture or astrological readings, it always comes down to the same thing: who are your clients, and how can you serve them best? Consequently, when you are interviewing for a job, you have to ask yourself, in this position:

  • Who will my clients be?
  • What will my clients demand of me?
  • Are my clients international or local?
  • Do I have the skills to serve these clients?

In the interview, you should show interest in not just the company itself, but also the clients. Ask questions to determine more about the clients you would be serving, and what type of expertise they will require from you. What type of cultural skills will you need to interact with these clients? That could mean languages and actual international skills or it could simply mean a specific socio-economic category or local subculture that expects certain behavior. Find out about the clients thoroughly before accepting a job. Your interest will impress the interviewer and it will also serve you in knowing whether or not this is the right job for you.
