The magazine took its 120 top companies to work for and then researched their internship programs. It looked at statistics–such as how many internships led to entry-level jobs and how many internships are offered each year—and created a list of the best internships available in America today. The list encompasses everything from financial firms to manufacturers. The top three intern-hiring companies are:
- Goldman Sachs
- Price Waterhouse Cooper
- Microsoft
These companies state that their internship opportunities have definitely improved over the years. They now are more picky about the interns that they select, but those that do get into the company are given positions with a lot of responsibility and client contact. This is exactly what you , as an intern want. Remember, the easy jobs don’t pay off in the end. Select your company wisely and be reading and willing to work like a dog, and you will be one of the lucky few whose internship turns into an entry-level job.
